British Seagull 102

I have a number of British Seagulls and always liked the look of the 102 models.
One came along eventually, it's a TC model 102 and under the muck it's a very nice motor.
This one was not much of a challenge as it was 99% complete.
It therefore got the full treatment, starting with a full strip down.

All in all it was a pretty straight forward clean up, lucky enough I have spare parts.
I also replaced the propellor.
Pictured after an emergency stop, the carburettor cap had decided to unscrew and had to stop before it fell into the river.
It was the first proper run of this motor and it performed well, other than that one hiccup.

TC 102, together with my FVP little forty.

Other seagulls I have.
