1947 5hp SeaKing Outboard Motor, sold by Montgomery Ward
This was one of the best looking outboard motors I restored.
I did have to replace the prop, as the original one was damaged and I also gave it a full strip down and repaint.
This was done some time ago so I don’t remember too much about the motor. It's not much different to other OMC motors of the time, except that this one has a wobble pump driven by the prop shaft and not an impeller driven by the main driveshaft like later models,
so much easier to work on.
